Malvaviscus is a genus of trey metal money of shrubs in the mallow family Malvaceae, native to tropical America from Florida and Mexico south to Peru and Brazil. A flowers resemble those of the related genus Hibiscus, except that the flower petal come folded spirally, & open just the short way to form the tube-cannular flower, to encourage pollination by hummingbirds. Most common list include Turk's cap Mallow, Wax Mallow, Sleeping Hibiscus, & Mazapan.
